Wednesday is a day for Whimsy, Wisdom, and Witt

hello. its raining here. yes, how lucky am in to live in this gorgeous city where it always rains. if you just turned to this blog and saw that i was talking about the weather then you click ‘back’ because who wants to hear about the weather. i am the kind of person whose mood can be completely altered by the weather. if i wake up to the sun shining in my room my day automatically is better. whereas if it is dark and rainy i simply am reminded of all the dreaded things in my mind.
i am counting the days until school is out. i am trying to speed up this process as much as possible. so many things to finish and complete. my teacher just assigned us a 12 line rhyming poem, and while occasionally i like to read poetry, writing it is a whole other story. i also have many books to read such as: my history book, the great gatsby, and breakfast at tiffany’s (which i am only reading cause i want to read it) so i am have so much to do, yet i am typing away on tumblr. you can just assume my self control of focusing. i keep thinking of other peoples poems like
“The Problem with a Kitten, Is it eventually becomes a Cat” - Ogden Nash
“There was a young woman named Bright, Who traveled much faster than light. She set out one day In a relative way, And returned on the previous night.”

i really like the whole pinkish feel of makeup today so i went a bought a couple new things. i got this bright pink lipstick from covergirl (shade: soft pink satin, name: covergirl outlast smooth-wear lipstick) and bright pink blush from maybelline. they are basically my new staples, well that and my mary kay concealor and kohl eyeliner.

love,
